Аннотация: The article evaluates the possibility of determining the depth of occurrence of ore anomalies using computer modelling for a homogeneous environment with the solution of Maxwell's equations by the finite element method. The parameters of the medium: the relative dielectric constant is taken equal to 10, the electrical conductivity Показать полностьюof the medium is 10-3 S / m, the depth of the ore body simulator (OBS) is 800 meters. In the course of modelling, a curve was obtained for the dependence of the coefficient of induced polarization (IP) on the earth's surface on the signal-to-noise ratio; this dependence shows the dependence of the IP value on the depth of the OBS. Thus, the numerical estimate of the IP parameter on the day surface of the Earth indicates the possibility of a comprehensive assessment of the depth of occurrence of ore anomalies, taking into account the profiling data on the size of the ore anomaly and the IP coefficients. © 2022 Author(s).
