Аннотация: In article working settlements which were a part subsequently of the development are considered or created the new cities in the territory of Central Siberia. Materials of article are analyzed on three main positions: 1) organization of working settlements (historical, political, social and economic precon- ditions), 2) planning orПоказать полностьюganization of working settlements (their interrelation with production and other settlements) 3) formation and development of the architectural environment. In the conclusion questions of temporary development of working settlements are considered (entry of settlements into fabric of the city or formation of new city education), also are taken up questions of identification and preservation of ar- chitectural heritage, an interaction perspective with modern architecture. Temporary framework of re- search covers the period from the 1900th to the 1950th years
