Аннотация: The structure and magnetic properties of iron films produced by pulse plasma sputtering were studied. The as-sputtered films consist of nanocrystalline iron particles surrounded by a carbon "shuba" ("coat"). Mossbauer spectra contain two sextets that are due to the ?-Fe and Fe - C phases. Upon heating, dendritic crystallization is Показать полностьюobserved. Based on electron diffraction data, we concluded that the growth of dendrites occurs via multiple twinning of nanosized constituents, namely, clusters with a close-packed structure. Upon annealing at 700°C, equilibrium phases typical of the corresponding bulk alloy form. The magnetic properties of the annealed samples are similar to those of polycrystalline iron films.
