Аннотация: The molar heat capacity of SmVO4 has been determined by differential scanning calorimetry in the temperature range 369-1020 K. The experimental data have been used to evaluate the thermodynamic properties of the oxide compound. The structure of SmVO4 has been determined at 298 and 973 K.
