Аннотация: Based on operating experience of induction channel furnaces at Krasnoyarsk Metallurgical Plant (KraMZ) were offered two ways and multiple devices to create the rotational motion of an aluminum melt in the channel part of channel furnaces. Installation of electromagnetic rotator and creation of rotational movement of the metal makes the current density distribution at cross-section channel is more uniform, which reduces the temperature gradient in the liner and improves the reliability of the channel of the induction unit. In this article, based on numerical simulation using ANSYS software,is given a comparative analysis of electromagnetic rotators with the conclusion about their effectiveness.
