Аннотация: The ever-increasing demand for fuel and energy resources on world markets lays the foundation for a steady upward trend in their production. Given the fact that energy is a natural and non-renewable resource, its availability becomes limited over time. In this regard, technologies for the extraction and processing of fossil fuels aПоказать полностьюnd, above all, oil and gas are constantly being improved, ensuring increased efficiency in the production of both traditional deposits and the exploration of new hard-to-recover reserves. It is possible to solve the problem of increasing the efficiency of oil and gas enterprises through the use of digital technologies, which will ensure a reduction in production and transaction costs of oil and gas production and refining, as well as increasing the competitiveness of oil producing enterprises in world markets. In the Russian Federation, the leading oil and gas company is Rosneft Oil Company, most of whose enterprises are located in remote areas of the Far North and equivalent territories and have a significant impact on the socio-economic development of the territory of their presence. For the integrated development of the territory and maintaining the leadership of the oil and gas complex in the world oil product markets, the Rosneft 2022 Strategy has been developed in the Russian Federation, which allows combining the interests of government and business and ensuring the sustainability of the territory's development. This policy document defines the priorities and prospects for digitalization of the oil and gas industry, as a necessary condition for the sustainable development of the industry. The article analyzes domestic software products that ensure the creation of new digital technologies, the level of application of various types of digital technologies in the oil and gas complex of the Russian Federation, and identifies the main conditions the creation of which is necessary for the successful development of digital transformation in the oil and gas industry.
