Аннотация: Calculations [1] showed that for fairly low-viscosity fluids variations of the internal energy of the interface due to local increments in its area can significantly affect the evolution of the temperature and velocity fields. In the present paper the possible effect of this theoretically predicted event on the linear and weakly noПоказать полностьюnlinear longwave instability of a plane interface between viscous fluids is considered in the case of an isothermal ground state. In the approximation considered, the effect is dispersive and leads to variation of the phase wave velocity and laminarization of the dynamics in the nonlinear stage of perturbation development.
