The study of heat transfer processes in the tail heating surfaces of the hot water boiler

Аннотация: The purpose of this work is to study and simulate the heat transfer processes in the air heater of the boiler unit in order to identify the optimal performance of the equipment. The study is conducted for the boiler unit operating at a nominal heat output of 100 Gcal/h with a minimum of 50 Gcal/h for the contaminated and cleaned heПоказать полностьюating surfaces of the air heater. It is determined that on the contaminated heating surface of the air heater in comparison with the cleaned one there are deposits of combustion products with a sufficiently high temperature after the boiler is shut down. This in turn leads to damage to the air heater and to a decrease in the cooling of exhaust gases, which ultimately affects the efficiency of the boiler. Therefore, it is proved that there is a need for a high quality and timely cleaning of the exhaust duct in order to ensure the efficiency and environmental friendliness of the boiler unit operation. © IAEME Publication.
