Аннотация: The paper reflects the results of a comprehensive analysis on the effect of hybrid nano-additives, specifically 18 nm spherical silicon oxide nanoparticles (NPs) and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) on the basic functional properties of mineral oil-based drilling fluids (OBFs). The concentration of spherical NPs varied from Показать полностью0.25 to 2 wt%, and the concentration of SWCNTs was 0.1 wt%. The developed methodology made it possible to obtain stable drilling emulsions modified with hybrid nanoadditives. The study investigated the impact of nano-additives on the rheology, antifriction, filtration and inhibition properties, colloidal stability of OBFs. The study demonstrated that nano-additives have a strong influence on all main properties of drilling emulsions. Carbon nanotubes enhance these effects even at very low concentrations, indicating the possibility of significant regulation of the main functional characteristics of drilling fluids (DFs).
