Аннотация: This article is the result of developing a simulation model of a multiservice satellite network for such services as voice and data transmission. The presence of several types of services leads to the need to form several procedures in the model both by the type of traffic and by the direction of transmission. At the same time, oneПоказать полностьюof the main limitations in the satellite network is the finite nature of the frequency resources used, leading to call losses when establishing a connection. To assess the probabilistic and temporal characteristics of the studied satellite network, such as qualitative performance indicators, a simulation model of a satellite communication network was developed taking into account a specified number of service provision procedures and the associated parameters of communication sessions and frequency resource distribution processes. The simulation model is implemented in the GPSS Studio environment (GPSS World language) and allows analyzing the probabilistic and temporal characteristics of the system, such as the probability of packet and call losses, and the average queue value when servicing multiservice traffic. The results can be used in the synthesis, analysis and optimization of satellite data transmission networks.
