Аннотация: (Fe + Pt)/SiO2 bimetallic catalysts of different atomic ratio Fe/Pt were prepared by joint impregnation of silica with water solution of FeCl3 and H2PtCl6. The size of surface bimetallic particles in reduced catalysts was 5-36 nm, total metal loading was 2 wt. %. The catalysts have higher specific activity in CO hydrogenation than Показать полностьюmonometallic ones. It is due to higher reducibility of iron in FePt catalysts of low dispersion compared to catalysts of high dispersion. Accordingly, high reducibility would allow to detect electron transfer from platinum to iron. The change of catalytic properties of iron, in this case, is similar to the process during iron modification due to its interaction with alkali metals. High activity of (Fe + Pt)/SiO2 catalysts is related with FePt solid solutions having alpha-Fe-like structure forming during catalysts reduction. These solid solutions have higher specific activity in comparison to solutions of fcc structure because higher surface concentration of iron since surface Fe atoms are a sites of hydrocarbons chain growth.
