Аннотация: Hyperthermia is one of the auxiliary methods of cancer treatment due to a general or local increase in temperature to 41–45 °С. We consider the heating of ferrihydrite particles by microwave field in the ferromagnetic resonance mode in comparison with nonresonant energy absorption. Ferrihydrite nanoparticles average size of 2.5 nm Показать полностьюwere biogenically synthesized by the bacteria Klebsiella oxytoca. The ferromagnetic resonance curve of ferrihydrite nanoparticles was recorded at room temperature. The strength of resonant field is nearly 3.3 kOe, the line width is around 1.4 kOe. We have studied the time dependence of the temperature increment of particles at different values of the constant magnetic field in the microwave field of 8.9 GHz. In a field close to resonant with a strength of 3.34 kOe, the greatest increase in the temperature of the system of ferrihydrite nanoparticles is observed, which indicates the resonant nature of the absorption of microwave energy. Heating of magnetic powders at ferromagnetic resonance mode can be used in medicine as a new method for implementing magnetic hyperthermia.
