Аннотация: Cerium orthovanadate has been prepared by solid-state reaction via multistep firing of a stoichiometric mixture of CeO2 and V2O5 in the range 873-1273 K. The molar heat capacity of CeVO4 has been determined by differential scanning calorimetry in the temperature range 350-1000 K.
