Аннотация: The heating of magnetite particles in the ferromagnetic resonance mode was studied. We considered a selective absorption of microwave 8.9 GHz radiation by magnetic particles at a constant magnetic field applied. The obtained results allow us to assume that heating of magnetic powders in the ferromagnetic resonance mode can be used Показать полностьюin medicine as a new method for implementing magnetic hyperthermia. Hyperthermia is considered as one of the adjuvant methods of cancer treatment due to a general or local heating up to 41–45 °C. This effect is owing to the fact that tumor cells are more sensitive to temperature rise than healthy ones.
