Аннотация: Precision thermogravimetry and thermoelectric measurements showed that bismuth germanate Bi12GeO20 (BGO) and bismuth silicate Bi12SiO20 (BSO) have oxygen nonstoichiometry. It was shown that doubly charged anionic vacancies are the dominant type of defect over a wide range of temperatures. The concentration V0 ·· in crystals of the Показать полностьюcompounds in question was determined for temperatures from 823 to 1033 K and oxygen partial pressures from 1 to 10-3 Pa. The thermodynamic and kinetic characteristics of defect formation were calculated.
