During their studies, students achieve a certain level of physical development and strengthen their health through physical education classes. However, young people are prone to actions and behaviours that harm their bodies, but the tendency to neglect their health can be measured. Therefore, we decided to analyse the dynamics of behavioural norms of a healthy lifestyle among female students of Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University, studying at different courses, depending on their level of physical fitness and frequency of attending practical classes. The materials and methods included a questionnaire of violations of healthy behaviour (E.L. Lutsenko, O.E. Gabelkova, 2013) and controlled testing of physical fitness level of the girls through the following control exercises: 100m sprint, standing long jump, push-ups/sit-ups in one minute, 500m run. The study revealed that as girls grow older, they start to give up the habit of smoking; there is a noticeable trend towards an increase in the number of students abusing alcoholic beverages; the “eating disorder” subscale reflects a critical value of the average score for 3rd-year female students; the “emotional incompetence” subscale demonstrates a trend towards an increase in students who, as they get older, begin to experience an empathy deficit; female students begin to consciously adhere to the rules and norms of safe behaviour, both personal and social; there is a increase in the intensity of self-aggressive actions; higher self-control abilities are manifested; girls strive to conform to social ideals “in pursuit of a fashionable image” and by the 3rd year this trend becomes more pronounced. Thus, during the conducted study, it was found that female students have an average group overall indicator of unhealthy behaviour, reflecting their overall activity in relation to the norms of a healthy lifestyle. These results indicate some contradiction between the need for a responsible attitude towards oneself and one’s health formed with age and the increase in the number of senior female students with a dismissive attitude towards the basics of a healthy lifestyle. In addition, the analysis of the number of female students engaged in sports shows an increase in the proportion of girls who do not include sports activities in their daily routine and who engage in sporadic sports, which reflects a tendency to decrease the significance of physical culture in their lives. The authors declare no conflicts of interests.
