Аннотация: The composition of essential oil isolated from Abies sibirica needles was determined. Furthermore, the compositions of various fractions obtained by distillation of the essential oil were investigated. Bornylacetate (34.21%), camphene (17.47%), and alpha-terpene (6.72%) were the major constituents of 31 detected in the essential oiПоказать полностьюl. The contents of the constituents in various fractions changed during production of the essential oil depending on the distillation time. Various fractions of the essential oil were tested for biological activity that was assayed using in vitro enzymatic test systems. It was found that the biological activity of A. sibirica essential oil depended largely on the contents of the major constituents such as bornylacetate and camphene.
