Аннотация: <jats:p>Google Earth Engine (GEE) cloud service is a powerful tool for environmental research. An example of using GEE to solve a typical research problem is shown. The following data extraction and analysis operations were used: filtering data from sets, constructing functions, building graphs, selecting data using vector and rastПоказать полностьюer masks. GEE interface in the form of JavaScript code was used. Correlation between surface runoff and precipitation and snow depth in areas with forest dieback was analysed for Krasnoyarsk region in Russia (<jats:italic>r</jats:italic> = 0.30 for precipitation and <jats:italic>r</jats:italic> = 0.57 for snow depth).</jats:p>
