Аннотация: The study describes the results of the dendrochronological analysis of the Kazym (Yuilsk) Ostrog towers, which are now the exhibits of the Open-Air Museum of History and Architecture of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography SB RAS. Based on the data, the year 1745 was identified as the date when the Ostrog was constructed. ThПоказать полностьюe reconstruction of the dynamics of fires showed that the Ostrog was rebuilt due to the destruction of the preceding structure by fire in 1742. The details of the construction history of the Kazym Ostrog confirm the hypothesis that Russian wooden architecture was constantly renewed in different but related forms. © 2010, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Archaeology & Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
