Аннотация: The Russian Energy Development program provides for an increase in electricity generation at hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) in the energy systems of the European part of the country. Thus, according to the Energy Strategy of Russia for the period up to 2035, the strategic goal is the development of hydropower. Russia as a potentПоказать полностьюial producer of hydrogen fuel has a number of significant advantages: a huge energy potential, including in the field of hydropower, large reserves of fresh water. Up to 25-30 GW of power in the Russian energy system, even in the hour of passing the annual maximum consumption, represent reserves in excess of the normatively necessary to ensure the reliable functioning of the system. For this reason, it is necessary to develop competitive energy storage technologies. One of such technologies may be the production of hydrogen at the expense of electricity by creating a hydrogen energy complex, the advantage of which is its location next to a hydroelectric power station with the possibility of using its electricity for the electrolysis production of hydrogen. The generated hydrogen and oxygen can be used for the production of electricity in peak conditions or sold as commercial products
