Аннотация: The bismuth cadmium oxyiodides [CdBi]O2I and [Cd0.5Bi1.5]O2Cd0.09I1.7 were prepared by the solid-phase interaction of BiOI and CdO. The crystal structures were determined by polycrystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The compounds crystallize in the tetragonal system, a = 3.9582(3) Angstrom, c = 13.970(2) Angstrom, space group I4/mmm Показать полностьюand a = 3.9809(3) Angstrom, c = 10.0461(2) Angstrom, space group P4/nmm, respectively. The structure is built of alternating [CdBiO2] layers with a single iodine layer in the former case and a double one in the latter.
