Аннотация: By computational fluid dynamic (CFD) modeling, the local hydraulic resistance of a pipe with conventional flow diameter 3 mm is determined. The ends of the pipe are connected to broad tubes. The CFD results are verified by means of Idelchik's Handbook of Hydraulic Resistance. The discrepancy is 16.6%.
