Аннотация: The use of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) in order to study the structural and tectonic features of the slopes of ledges and sides has become relatively recent and at present there is no generally accepted methodology and specialized software, and the issue of accuracy and correctness of the obtained values has not been studied. TПоказать полностьюhe use of geodetic multicopters for structural mapping of slopes of quarries and cuts makes it possible to avoid the shortcomings present in the methods of studying fractures with a rock compass and «ground» photogrammetry. The study evaluates the accuracy of determining the parameters of the elements of the occurrence of macrocracks, on a digital 3D model obtained using a geodetic multicopter. Since it is very difficult to directly evaluate the accuracy of the angular characteristics of a 3D model obtained using aerial photography, due to multifactorial possible sources of errors, the accuracy analysis was carried out by comparing the final result with the results obtained by known methods, accepted throughout engineering practice, in common experimental areas. The main experimental site was the southwestern part of the side of the quarry of the Eldorado deposit, located in the Severo-Yenisei region of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were drawn about the convergence of the obtained characteristics of structural-tectonic features according to the 3D model built using the UAV, with the results obtained by other known methods.
