Аннотация: The article describes the definition of relationship between parameters of induction crucible furnace and meniscus shape using a mathematical model. The data obtained has been analyzed and the mathematical model qualitatively assessed using the open non-profit software Elmer and OpenFOAM. Transients in an induction furnace crucible have been analyzed.
