Аннотация: Advantages of nonlinear frequency-mixing in gas-filled waveguides to generate vuv radiation are analyzed. Under phase-matching conditions the waveguides are shown to provide a much higher conversion efficiency (up to 102?104 times) as compared to the tight focusing into the bulk gas medium.
