Аннотация: The influence of heat treatment regimes of sheet semi-finished products with a thickness of 2 mm from alloys D16 (2024) and AMg6 (5654) on intercrystalline (IGC) and exfoliating corrosion (EC) was studied. After heat treatment, the samples were subjected to accelerated tests for intercrystalline corrosion according to GOST 9.021-74Показать полностьюin solution I and for exfoliating corrosion according to GOST 9.904-82 in solution 3. To carry out corrosion tests, flat samples of D16 and AMg6 alloys were taken from a sheets 2 mm thick, cut along the rolling direction. Alloy D16 was thermally processed according to the following schemes: quenching and natural aging, quenching and artificial aging. Artificial aging was carried out according to the following modes: aging temperature 180 °C, 160 °C, 140 °C, holding time 3 and 6 h. For semi-finished products from alloy D16, a change in the structure, mechanical properties, and propensity for IGC and EC was evaluated. The structure and properties of annealed AMg6 alloy sheets before and after corrosion tests were also investigated. It was established that artificial aging of the alloy D16 at a temperature of 180 °С, 6 hours provides the maximum hardening of sheet semi-finished products. However, this mode of aging leads to an increase in the tendency of sheet semi-finished products to intercrystalline and exfoliating corrosion. Natural aging of the samples maintains a fairly high resistance of semi-finished products to intercrystalline corrosion. Therefore, products made of artificially aged D16 alloy are not recommended for use in marine environments. Alloy AMg6 has a high resistance to IGC and EC in the annealed condition.
