The concept of psychological-pedagogical support of training judokas for competitions presupposes creation of pre-season psychological preparedness of athlete for every certain competition. Realization of the concept is realized on all stages of long-term sports training by solution of certain tasks. The worked concept is based on the following principles: continuity motivational basis of education, timeliness and systematic character, specialized direction of the contents of psychological-pedagogical support, integrated use of means and individualization. Conducting of pedagogical experiment on training high-qualified judokas for competitions based on results of routine monitoring of psychological preparedness showed the opportunity of optimization of readiness for action of every athlete, promoting more successful performance on competitions. The concept of psychological-pedagogical support of training of judokas for competitions is realized in case of certain conditions in compliance with the following approaches: activity, competitive, specific (for judo), intellectual, qualification, age and personally-focused. Every stage of long-term training has its contents of psychological-pedagogical support of training of judokas for competitions, purposes, tasks and means.
