Аннотация: A numerical model of the cylindrical ingot melting process in an alternating magnetic field has been developed by coupling ANSYS and Fluent. The melting process was calculated using the "enthalpy-porosity" method and a turbulent flow k-w SST unsteady model. Based on the developed model, physical processes at the non-crucible melting of a titanium alloy (BT6) were calculated and analyzed.
