Аннотация: Spatial evolution of multifrequency fundamental and second-harmonic radiations has been studied in a transparent dispersive non-linear medium. It is shown that the system may demonstrate a spatial chaos due to the multiple competing processes of three-wave optical mixing occurring in it. Also discussed are the conditions of experimental observation of chaos in the system considered.
