Аннотация: Bacterial composition of purulent foot ulcers in 40 diabetic patients and spectrum of bacterial collagenolytic exoproteinases were studied. Quantities of Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris and Enterobacter spp. were calculated to be 48, 27 and 15% of the total amount of wound bacterial microflora respectively. Two bands of bacПоказать полностьюterial collagenolytic enzymes (120 kDa and 50 kDa) were revealed using gelatinolytic enzymography. S. aureus and P. vulgaris were shown to produce both proteinases, while Enterobacter spp. was able to secrete only high molecular weight enzyme. Proteus was demonstrated to exhibit the most powerful collagenolytic activity. The role of exogenic gelatinases as one of the key factors of pathogenic microflora virulence and how they contribute to foot ulcer chronization at diabetes mellitus are described. Based on the obtained results, comprehensive microbiological and enzymological studies of lower extremities diabetic ulcers are recommended to improve efficiency of both treatment and monitoring of wound healing process for this category of patients.
