Germanium(IV) Fluoro Complexes in Hydrochloric Acid Solutions

Аннотация: Complexation of Ge(OH)4 with fluoride ions at 298.1 K in aqueous solutions of hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride is studied by potentiometry at ionic strengths from 0.50 to 5.0 and HCl concentrations from 0.0100 to 5.00 mol/1. Conditional stability constants Kn of di- and tetrafluorogermanium(IV) complexes are calculated. The unПоказать полностьюusual absence of intermediate complex species is attributed to the variable geometry of the complex and effects of the solution acidity on Kn depending on the stoichiometry of the formed species. The medium effect on Kn is estimated. The constants at zero ionic strength are determined.
