Аннотация: The article describes a mathematic simulation model of an induction system of an electromagnetic mould for casting aluminum ingots with a small cross-section and analyzes electromagnetic and thermohydrodynamic processes using this model. As a result, patterns of electromagnetic, temperature and hydrodynamic fields' distribution havПоказать полностьюe been obtained, which allow to understand the nature and intensity of the physical processes during crystallization of aluminum in a magnetic field. They also allow to understand the interaction between them and evaluate their influence on the process of ingot formation.
