Аннотация: A number of essential shortcomings of the conventional method of goldcontaining concentrates final treatment, that cause valuable com- ponent losses, are described. It is shown, that losses are significantly decreased with introduction of largevolume survey and final concen tration stage modules with 1-5 t/hr throughput rate. LocatПоказать полностьюion of concentration module very close to mining site permits, furthermore, to organize on-the-spot regular large-volume sampling of both feed sands and taking of local samples from sluice box location. It is noted, that design of concentration modules must provide for efficient method of sluice box concentrate feeding to final concentration stage plants, especially when local topography rules out gravity feeding and provision of access at receiving bin level. It was established, that main losses of valuable component at one of mining sites were due to the presence of gold-rutile intergrowths. In accord with the phase analysis data, placer minerals are represented by ilmenite, rutile, pyrite, magnentite, titanomagnetite and cassiterite. Based on the results of the studies, an efficient flow sheet was developed and introduced for gravity concentration plant with hydraulic elevator material feeding, designed for gold-containing sands concentration with application of state-of-the-art concentrating equipment. Microscopical analysis of concentration plant products was performed. It is shown, that heavy concentrate contains silver, its recovery being of a commercial interest for the facility.
