Аннотация: The paper deals with a mathematical model aimed to study electromagnetic and hydrodynamic processes in the inductor-ingot system during continuous DC mold casting. Experimental studies implied measurements of the vertical components of the liquid phase of meridional flows using the ultrasonic Doppler velocity probe.
