Аннотация: Finishing of classes by junior athletes on the stage of sports perfection is a rather mass phenomenon. It is proved by the researches of the foreign author Gary Bussman, who has studied the features of finish of career by junior athletes. The researches refered to German and French athletes. In our country despite acuteness of the Показать полностьюresearch of dynamics of sports career such publications are quite limited in modern guidance literature. The inevitability of athletes' transition from junior to senior elite sport in modern sports practice is accompanied by a number of unsettled problems and presupposes complicacy due to lack of view of correlations and specific features of training systems for junior and senior athletes. In some sports (calisthenics, racewalking) situation is rather favorable since such systems are created and worked for many years by a certain trainer and personality, leading all "transitions", including to elite sport. It creates continuous healthy competition among senior athletes. But such examples are an exclusion since there is no unified worked, balanced program, representing a precisely organized system of transition from junior to senior elite sport in guidance literature. The purpose of the research was to work an algorithm of calculation of preservation of the athletes' contingent to continue their sports career. The conducted research resulted in a number of conclusions. The researchers worked the "System of forecast of young athletes' success", which use promotes rather quick forecast of possible reasons of early leaving of sport among 16-25-year-old young people on different stages of sports career. Trainer working with this contingent gets general recommendations, use of which promotes increase of the quality of educative and training process and will facilitate preserving of sports career of his pupils.
