Nonstoichiometry and mass transport in bismuth titanate with sillenite structure

Аннотация: Disordering processes in bismuth titanate with the sillenite-type structure were studied by thermogravimetry. It was shown that, in the range of oxygen partial pressures from 10(5) to 0.26 Pa, the off-stoichiometry in Bi12TiO20 is primarily due to doubly ionized oxygen vacancies. At lower values of rho(o2), defects on cation sites Показать полностьюprevail. The experimental results were used to evaluate the thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of defect formation in the oxygen sublattice.
