Аннотация: Silver complexes with trifunctional amino acids (arginine and histidine, [Ag2LOH]; tryptophan, [Ag3L2OH](n); glutamic acid, [AgL](n)) are studied using pH-metry, derivatography, X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis, solubility determination, and IR spectroscopy. The polynuclear structure of X-ray amorphous silver(I) compoПоказать полностьюunds is suggested: dimers with bridging and N,N-chelate coordination of the arginine and histidine moieties and chain-branched polymers with bridging coordination of the glutaminate and tryptophanate ions. Data on their antimicrobial activity and toxicity are presented.
