Аннотация: Simulation results are presented for nonstationary processes in an experimental MHD system on the initiation of local plasma inhomogeneity and on interaction of it with the magnetic field. The initiation dynamics and energy balance have been examined. The energy losses on initiation are due mainly to gas-dynamic expansion. The elecПоказать полностьюtrode potential drop has a substantial effect on the MHD characteristics. The calculations agree satisfactorily with experiment.
