Аннотация: The operational reliability of hydro generators and the quality of the generated electricity directly depends on the condition of the equipment of the excitation systems. Modernization of excitation systems, with partial or complete replacement of electrical equipment, is the most effective means of improving the operational reliabПоказать полностьюility and stability of power systems. The improvement of excitation systems is determined by the emergence of new requirements: increasing dynamic stability, reducing losses, ensuring the quality of electricity, group management and regulation. Modern technologies allow to operate the equipment with the minimum level of service. Failure-free operation of synchronous machines is provided by the operation of protection when reaching dangerous limit values, but not to prevent dangerous situations. Modern standards of excitation systems, provide for the mandatory presence of functions of registration of the current state, event logging, oscillography of the start and stop of the engine. The pathogens themselves, which are in operation, are already close to the development of the designated service life. All this, taken together, sets the task of updating the equipment and improving technical and economic indicators. The use of modern microprocessor technology will allow to implement more complex and effective laws of excitation control. To implement the possible variants of the new excitation system, a single concept of their creation is necessary, taking into account the modern requirements of international standards?
