Аннотация: The article highlights the problem of additional employment of teenagers urgent for large cities in summer period. The article describes successful practical experience of organizing a city youth project «Summer in Krasnoyarsk», aimed at schoolchildren aged 13-17. The main goal of the project is to attract adolescents to the activiПоказать полностьюties of city life by conducting sightseeing, educative and career-oriented activities. It was initiated and developed by Municipal Youth Autonomous Institution «Travelers' Center» which has 25 years of experience in this field. The authors designed a questionnaire and carried out a survey to assess the relevance of the project and to identify its positive and negative sides. Seventy five participants took part in the study and expressed their opinions about attractiveness and effectiveness of this form of summer leisure. The results of the research prove that there is high demand for teenage project «Summer in Krasnoyarsk» which offers adolescents who stay in the city for the summer holidays enjoyable, effective and rewarding recreation.
