Аннотация: In this paper, we consider two variants of the calculation of the self-starting electric motors of own needs of Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP during the automatic actuation of a backup transformer at the substation of 500 kV. Calculations conducted by the Institute "Lengidroproekt" has shown that the use of a secondary of the transformerПоказать полностьюwhen the self is impossible. The results show that the residual voltage on the 6 kV tyres is below the normalized 55%. At the same time, the calculation does not list specific consumers involved in self-launch, but is accepted approximately. The calculation was carried out with the specified real composition of consumers who will participate in self-launch from operating experience. This approach shows that the value of residual voltage in the calculations in winter reaches 56,7%. In the summer, this value is expected to increase, as most of the station's heating load will be switched off. Accounting soft starters (SCP) will also have a positive impact on the calculation due to the reduction of the multiplicity of the starting current CP from 6 to 3,5. The use of a backup transformer for self-start is possible and should be included in the scheme of automatic input of the reserve (ABR).
